August 21, 2019
The last day of irrigation for the 2019 season is October 14th. This applies to all customers with metered irrigation services. Irrigating without an approved Special Irrigation Application is not permitted after October 14, 2019.
Late irrigation requests will be considered on a case by case basis if you are not over your season allotment.
If you wish to apply for late irrigation, please fill out the "Special Irrigation Application" form available under Account Services and submit it by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your application will be reviewed and you will be notified of the outcome of that review. Forms can also be picked up and dropped off in person at the district office. Late irrigation will not be granted to any property exceeding the annual allotment.
Note, district bylaws require all metered irrigation services to have a working isolation valve and blow-out port. This enables landowners to winterize their irrigation system regardless of whether or not your service has been shut off. Special requests for service shutoff for winterizing/blowing out irrigation systems will not be granted.
The following diagram illustrates the typical irrigation service set up. When blowing out your system make sure you close your isolation valve and discharge water through the blow-out port - do not blow your system out through the water meter!
